We envision a world where all young people, particularly those from marginalized communities, experience a sense of belonging, joy, and limitless opportunities. We believe this is made possible when schools and youth-serving organizations work in partnership to build inclusive, high-impact cultures that center equity, healing, and holistic development.
At VisionLED (Visionary Leaders in Education), we equip schools and community-based organizations with the tools, strategies, and mindsets needed to cultivate environments where students—particularly, youth of color, multilingual learners, and students with disabilities—can thrive socially, emotionally, and academically.
We provide integrated, equity-focused services that strengthen adult practice, center youth voice, and build systems that promote lifelong success for every young person.
We believe that vision alignment between instruction, culture, and adult practice is essential for sustainable change. We provide distinct yet interconnected services for schools and community-based organizations, tailored to support the full ecosystem surrounding youth.

SEL-Infused Organizational Development
Dr. Melody Hawkins is an accomplished educator, author, consultant, SEL Ambassador, and visionary educational leader. With a doctorate in Organizational Innovation from the nation's top academic institution for Social-Emotional Learning and Whole Human Development, Melody is fueled by a commitment to address disparities in K-12 education. More than a decade ago, she pivoted her growing laboratory science career to become an eighth-grade science teacher in the heart of her city's urban community. In this role, she and her students accomplished much, including exceptional growth in their science state and local assessments and an opportunity to watch their student-designed experiment launch at the International Space Station and be tested by NASA scientists. Melody received accolades such as National University Teacher of the Year, inclusion in the prestigious 40 under 40 Most Influential People list, and special recognition from the city of Jackson, TN (her hometown) and the state of Tennessee while advancing to a leadership position as a High School Administrator. Now, as a Science Instructional Expert, Melody focuses on improving access to science education in her city's urban-based schools and embedding racial equity and social-emotional academic development into the culture of youth-serving community-based organizations.
